OPEN HOUSE INVITATION
Feeling burnt out?
Struggling with self-care?
Noticing stressed out or irregular behaviours?
In the spirit of building emergency responder resilience among those dedicated to keeping Canadians safe, The Happyness Center—in collaboration with Volunteer Kamloops and with support from the United Way—is very pleased to announce a 12-week Restoring Responder Resilience workshop.
By providing personalized holistic tools to emergency responders and emergency volunteers, this workshop will help relieve experiences of grief, trauma, anxiety, and burn-out which will result in responders feeling a sense of restored mental, physical and emotional well-being. Self-care is crucial for emergency management personnel to continue serving and helping those in need. We at the Happyness Centre strongly believe that when the appropriate holistic healing tools are applied, responders are able to build resilience prior to, during and after emergency events.
Happyness Center is a community-based healing center that offers safe, effective and accessible holistic health services. Our dedicated practitioners from various backgrounds are inspired to share effective tools that’ll help your process of healing and well-being. We provide a range of wellness services to enrich, maintain, and promote your long-term health. Our wellness approach includes four domains of wellness – Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. This program is delivered to emergency personnel with the support from the Volunteer Kamloops. We are grateful that Volunteer Kamloops, a 30-year old pillar in the community, will be partnering with us in this healing program.
